We welcome your application to Salem Academy!
Salem Academy accepts applications on a rolling basis, and class sizes are limited so we suggest you begin the process early in the fall of the year that precedes your entry. We’re here to help you through every step of the way.
Each application requires similar information: student essay/writing samples, information from parents, current year and prior year school transcripts, and optional recommendations. All students will complete an admissions interview with a member of the Admissions team during their campus visit (either virtual or in-person).
While Salem Academy is test-optional for admission, we serve as a test site for the SSAT, administering the middle and high school-level tests several times throughout the year.
Salem notifies students of their acceptance status on a rolling basis, usually two weeks after completion of the application. We encourage families to make their decision within two weeks of receiving their offer of admission. Space in each grade is limited due to our small class sizes.
