Laura Bass

Laura Bass joined Salem Academy in August 2016 as the Latin teacher. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a masters degree from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. This is actually her second stint at Salem Academy.  Mrs. Bass began her teaching career at Salem, and then left to teach at another independent school in the area.  When the opportunity to return to Salem presented itself, she was overjoyed and jumped at the chance to return.  Mrs. Bass enjoys sharing her love of languages with students!  In her spare time she enjoys tennis, travelling, the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
